Who was your role model as a kid and why?
My dad because he taught me the values and morals that I still live by today. He is one of the hardest working people I know and he always sacrificed himself for the greater good of the family. He taught me how to play ball, how to fish, how to fix things, how to love, and how to be a man. I hope that one day I can be half of what he was and is to me.
What is the most amazing thing you've experienced in your life?
When I was in College my house was broken into and my Mongoose mountain bike was stolen. A week later I was grocery shopping and there was a contest drawing for a Men's Trek GT Mountain Bike. So I entered like I do all contests and two weeks later I received a call saying that I had won. HECK YEAH! That thief can have that old bike because I am the BIG WINNER of a brand new bike! Oh don't laugh-you would be excited too.
Why should you be the first Every Man Jack?
I deserve to be the FIRST Every Man Jack because I am Jack- I am a Jack of all trades. I am a man's man and I am a woman's man. I was born in the country, I live in the city, I will never forget where I came from, but at the same time I am full steam ahead. I like to think of myself as clean, professional, edgy, and full of character just like EMJ. I hold myself up to a certain standard and I don't settle for less. I love the outdoors and I love traveling, but I also enjoy dressing up for a night out on the town. I am comfortable in my own skin (Thanks to EMJ) and others are comfortable around me! I think that the first Every Man Jack needs to be confident, stylish, witty, smart, sexy, and genuine and that is who I AM! Brandon Dallas Latham is EMJ 2009.
