Great for an acne wash, but...

This skin clearing wash is probably one of the best available at its price point. It is less drying than the bulk of its drug store counterparts, no strong synthetic fragrance, cleaner chemicals (no SLS or parabens), and supportive ingredients like allantoin, aloe, arnica and chamomile. It foams up, cleans nicely, and leaves the skin feeling great. What's not to like? Unfortunately, for my very sensitive, acne-prone skin, this wash does not do well. After consistent (twice daily) use, it left my skin overly dry AND breaking out worse than before. There are a couple of suspect ingredients: flax, borage, and rose hip seed oil, which, despite being great natural ingredients, could be problematic for acne-prone skin. My skin is simply too sensitive to handle 99% of cleansers... for me, Cetaphil is the only reliable choice. For others, I would say, give this product a shot. For the price, the quality cannot be beat.

This product was different than most I have used. It doesn't come out as a cream like most, it is a clear lotion like consistency. I have tried many different face washes out there and have either broken out more, dried up my skin, or just burned. Not this stuff. I feel clean and my pores feel clear. I follow it up with the post-shave signature mint lotion. With both my skin is softer, the redness from previously products id diminishing, and I am not breaking out. Great product friendly to the wallet.
