I've always used Gillette products that lather up like crazy. EMJ's shave cream is more like a lotion that goes on your skin in a thin layer. It was a comfortable shave but what I didn't like was how it really gunked up my five blade razor... I had to wipe it off my blade with my finger. Might be better with a 2/3 blade razor or straight blade.

I feel like I've used every shave cream available for men, including stuff that can only be purchased online or behind department store counters. This is the best offering among men's shave creams right now. Very high quality, perfect for men of all skin types. It takes no more than about a quarter-size amount of the shave cream to cover my entire face. My razor glides effortlessly across my face and I never, ever, ever, get cuts -- even when using cheap disposables when I'm traveling.

I was in search of a non-aerosol shaving cream for business trips, and found this at Target in the men's section (I'm a woman). I love the results! Only wish it didn't clog my razor after each swipe, and that you still distributed through Target--I can't find you there anymore!

I always used cheap foaming creams and gels (think Gillette and Barbasol), but my first shave with the EMJ cream totally changed my mind. I was skeptical because there was no lather like I was used to. But it's a smooth shave and I don't get nicks with it. Definitely worth the little extra money.

This is a wonderful shaving product; with a pleasant non-fragranced scent. It is drier than most gels, which means it feels like shave foam, but with all of the benefits of a smooth gel with skin-friendly ingredients. Especially good for hot climates where oils could cause skin problems.

So far I have found nothing that is more comfortable to shave with. This cream is just that, a real cream. Not a cream that turns into foam like other products. I have super sensitive ginger skin and this is the only shave product that leaves me bump and burn free.
