I love to produce films, not all by myself, but rather the act of bringing people together for one ultimate purpose of creating a sweet freaking movie. It allows everyone to share their talents. I like to hang out with friends that energize me, and respond to new ideas. I like to learn from my mistakes. Last but not least, I really like women.
Dislikes:
I dislike when people refuse to see potential. I dislike the smell of my body odor when I'm around women. I dislike staying indoors, even when it is rainy... maybe it's an Oregonian thing. I dislike really hot water. I dislike it when people will not empathize.
Who was your role model as a kid and why?:
My older brother has been my greatest role model since I was a kid. After years of wiping the floor with me, we eventually learned to get along. We were always there for each other whenever our parents got mad at us all the way through high school. No matter what, my brother would stick up for me, even to his own friends. He always taught me that I should act the way I want to act, and that I should pursue success in the way I see it in my own eyes. He lives his life fearlessly and with apparent simplicity that makes me feel a deep sense of respect for him, he has always made good grades, finding a job, and being successful in ones own eyes look easy. Which makes me believe that it probably is, I just have to work toward it.
What is the most amazing thing you've experienced in your life?:
The most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my life happened just this last year. After months of studying for finals, I was feeling very couped up in my dorm room with my friends. After a few drinks, we began to talk about travel and where we would like to go, a couple of my foreign exchange student friends from South Korea had never been to Seattle Washington before and I had promised to travel there with them months earlier. In the excitement of the moment, we decided to pack up our bags at literally 11:30 at night, and then contact a really cool host from couch-surf.org, a website where travelers can find places to sleep. We ended up agreeing with "Noah" to stay at his place, and so at 12:00am, we left for our Seattle adventure. We arrived in Seattle at about 4:00 am, and only let ourselves sleep for a few hours, we then set out to explore the big city and we saw everything from the folk music festival, to the INSANE Seattle Public Library, and Pioneer Square version 2.0 (Portland did it first!... maybe) We met some really cool travelers who came from France and Argentina, and that same day we left back to our home in Portland Oregon. It was awesome to experience such a rush in quick decision making, and going off-the-cuff to enjoy ourselves and visit my family in Seattle.
What do you do to maintain a healthy lifestyle?:
This question is a fairly simple one to answer, I lift weights not enough to build me up into a muscle man, but the right amount to keep me from getting unbearably thin. I tend to go on a run once a week when I feel like I need it after long hours of hobby projects, job searching, and schoolwork.
Why should you be the next Every Man Jack?:
I ought to be the next Every Man Jack because in some way, I can connect with the feelings and desires of every man, regardless of whether their name is Jack or not. I have always seemed to connect well with others and find some aspect of life that can be related, we are all human after all. I'm not the kind of person that puts myself above others, but rather I keep it on an even keel. I will pursue what I want to till I physically am unable, I am happy to bring any of my fellows along with me as long as we are all willing to work together and lift each other up. I ought to be the every man because I see every man, and accept every man. Ladies too.
