GENERAL INFORMATION: The sponsor of the Wanted: Every Man Jack (the "Contest") is Every Man Jack, LLC ("EMJ"), having a place of business located at 3661 Sacramento Street, SF, CA 94118
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, AND NO OBLIGATION OF ANY KIND IS IMPLIED. THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, TAXED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. PARTICIPATION CONSTITUTES ENTRANT'S FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT TO AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
Contest begins on May 24, 2010 12:00:00am. Pacific Standard Time and ends on August 23, 2010 at 11:59:59 a.m. Pacific Standard Time ("Contest Period").
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is offered to all natural persons age 18 and over as of the date of entry, who are legal residents of the U.S. Final four entrants must be 21 years of age to be eligible for prizes. Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of EMJ, its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of such persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER: Eligible persons (each an “Entrant”) can enter the Contest by:
Only one (1) entry per person or e-mail address is permitted during the Contest Period. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. In the event of a dispute, each potential winner may be required to provide proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the potentially winning entry. By participating, Entrant agrees to the Contest Rules and the decisions of EMJ, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
Entrant may be submitted by another individual but only with the permission of the participant. If an entrant selected as a finalist was submitted by another party, the original entry will be deleted and the finalist will complete the entry again to ensure that they agree to the terms and conditions of the Contest in order to be eligible for the public online vote and prizes stated herewithin.
THE PRIZES:All 12 semi-finalists will receive Every Man Jack products for one year and a swag bag filled with great stuff. Final Four will receive trips for two to Las Vegas and it is in Las Vegas they will receive entertainment or sports prize packs. The grand prize winner will be featured in an advertisement in Men’s Health magazine. All entrants will receive a free product coupon in the mail 4-6 weeks after submission date. See EMJ website for further details on prizes.
The winners will be notified by mail, e-mail and/or telephone. Prizes are non-transferable and non-saleable. All Federal, State, and/or local taxes, registration, license, title and other fees, costs and expenses related to the prize awarded and the Contest are the sole responsibility of the winners. No alternative prize, cash equivalent, or other substitution is permitted except at EMJ’s sole discretion. JUDGING: The 12 semi-finalists will be determined by a combination of highest number of votes received and scoring by panel of judges. Final four and grand prize winner will be determined by highest number of votes received during the semi-final voting period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. Conduct of the Contest and selection of the finalists are in EMJ’s sole discretion, and EMJ’s decisions are final and binding. EMJ will be the sole arbiter in any dispute.
OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS AND WARRANTY: Submitted pictures, videos, links or websites may not contain any inappropriate content (including, without limitation, nudity, defamatory, pornographic, unlawful, discriminatory or vulgar content or language) or else such entries will be disqualified. No entries will be returned to the Entrant. Entrant represent and warrants that its submitted entry, including pictures, videos, websites, graphics and other, not subject to any third party rights whatsoever, including privacy and publicity rights; unless it is the owner of such rights or has permission from its rightful owner to post the material and to grant EMJ all of the license rights granted herein. Entrant confirms that it has the written consent, release, and/or permission of each and every identifiable individual person in the entry to use the name or likeness of each and every such identifiable individual person to enable inclusion and use of the material in the manner contemplated by the Website and these Contest Rules.
OBLIGATIONS OF FINALISTS AND WINNER: All finalists and winners must be available for a 4 hour photo shoot for advertising purposes that is convenient to both parties. The final four, specifically, will be willing to participate in a photo shoot during stay in Las Vegas. Failure to meet this requirement will result in forfeit of the prize awared.
OWNERSHIP AND LICENSE GRANT: Entrant will retain all of the ownership rights to the pictures. However, in consideration of Entrant's participation in this Contest, Entrant expressly grants and assigns to EMJ a perpetual royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable and transferable, unlimited worldwide right to modify, use, reproduce, distribute, electronically publish, and display the submitted pictures and written material in all media, means, and forms and without any payment to the Entrant. Entrant agrees that the submission and use of each entry shall be subject to and governed by the Contest Rules. Entrant also hereby grants to each Website user a non-exclusive license to access the pictures through the Website as permitted through the functionality of the Website and under these Contest Rules. The foregoing license granted by you to each Website user terminates once you remove or delete an entry from the Website. In addition, to the extent that you provide any comments about an EMJ product in connection with your submission, you consent to the use and duplication of such comments, or portions thereof by EMJ for any commercial, advertising, trade and other purposes, in any medium during and after the Contest Period.
PRIVACY POLICY: EMJ may use personal information submitted by participants in a completed entry form in accordance with the terms of EMJ’s Privacy Policy. EMJ’s Privacy Policy may be viewed at EMJ’s website at www.everymanjack.com/privacy
COPYRIGHT COMPLAINT POLICY EMJ expects the users of the Website to respect the copyrights of others. It is a violation of our terms and conditions for a user to post material that infringes the copyrights of others.
EMJ may, under appropriate circumstances and in accordance with the terms and conditions, terminate the accounts of users who post material that EMJ has reason to believe infringes on the copyrights of others.
OTHER COMPLAINTS: If you have any complaints about the validity, appropriateness or rights of a entry or its content please contact EMJ via phone, fax, mail or email.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: EMJ is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winner. The winner may be required to sign and return a liability release, declaration or affidavit of eligibility, and, where lawful, publicity consent agreement, all within fifteen days of notice to the winner as a condition of receiving the prize. By accepting and/or using a prize, the winner agrees to the use of the winner's name, pictures, and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. EMJ does not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to any submissions. We reserve the right to screen all entries and communications prior to uploading to the Website. Generally this will be done within approximately 24 to 48 hours. We reserve the right to remove any entries or communications at any time in the event of a breach of these Contest Rules. We may limit the amount of time we store the entries and communications and reserve the right to remove the pictures or entry from the Website at any time and without notice.
If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return completed and executed declaration/affidavit and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. By participating, Entrant agrees that EMJ, its agents and representatives, and contest event entities are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
EMJ reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel the Contest at any time if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security or proper play of the Contest.
RELEASE: By participating in the Contest, Entrant agrees to release and hold EMJ, its affiliates, shareholders, officers, employees, agents and representatives and event entities harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the Contest, acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant and EMJ in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to the conflict of laws rules that would cause the laws of any other jurisdiction to apply. Entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the State and Federal courts of Northern California and waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other forum.
MODIFICATION: EMJ reserves the right to modify these Contest Rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest.

You'll get a profile page that you can update until the close of entries on July 16, 2010. You can even link it to your Facebook, MySpace or YouTube page.
At Every Man Jack, we know there are great guys all over the world. We encourage you all to enter and get a free product (maybe even a year’s worth). However, to make the final four, you must be living in the U.S. It’s not you, foreign residents, it’s the airfare.
After the close of entries, voting is open to the public and our panel of judges will consider the answers provided on the entry forms. Appearance is considered too but make no mistake, this isn't a beauty contest. Once 10 semi-finalists are selected, the general public will vote on all 12 semi-finalists for one overall winner.
Round 1 voting (to complete the field of 12 semi-finalists) begins July 21st, 12:00 PM PST and ends August 4th, 11:59 PM PST.
The semi-final round of voting (to choose an overall winner) begins August 12th, 12:00 PM PST and ends August 23rd, 11:59 AM PST.
Don't forget to tell your friends and family to vote—and vote often. But no more than once per day, we have to keep things clean.
The final four candidates will be announced on August 16th. Then it’s on to Vegas, baby.
Like a friend, family member or significant other? Absolutely. But we recommend getting permission from them first. Every Man Jack can't be held responsible for anyone you enter. And we reserve the right to remove inappropriate stuff, too. (Sorry to be the tough guy.)
